2. Information We Collect
To issue a Digital Signature Certificate and provide our services, we collect the following personal information:
- Identity information: Full name, PAN card number, Aadhaar number (used only for eKYC verification via OTP).
- Contact information: Phone number, email address, WhatsApp number.
- Organisation details (for Organisation DSC): Company name, GST number, Certificate of Incorporation, designation of the signatory.
- Payment information: Transaction reference (we do not store full card or bank details).
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, via Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and issue your Digital Signature Certificate through the licensed Certifying Authority.
- To verify your identity as required by CCA guidelines and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- To communicate order status, dispatch tracking, and support.
- To send renewal reminders before your DSC expires.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements.
- To improve our website and services using anonymised analytics data.
4. Sharing of Information
We share your personal data only as necessary:
- Certifying Authorities (CAs): Your KYC data is shared with our licensed CA partner to issue your DSC. This is mandatory under CCA regulations.
- Delivery partners: Your name and address are shared with courier services for USB token dispatch.
- Payment processors: Transaction details are processed by third-party payment gateways under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as required to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. KYC records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by CCA regulations. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data by contacting us.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type, location at city level). These cookies help us improve our website. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Aadhaar-based eKYC is conducted over encrypted channels via the licensed CA. We do not store your Aadhaar number in our systems after KYC completion.
